The creation process
Inspiration come first.
A brief moment is enough – at first, very fleeting. Next, I need to be in solitude, on the bosom of nature is best. I start to see shapes, every colour and a clear vision of the painting forms.
Afterwards, I prepare for isolation – I clean, go bulk shopping and close myself in my home. Nothing should distract me. I begin working on the sketch which takes me up to 2 to 3 days.
Once ready, I begin painting.
Each element of the same colour must be at an appropriate distance from the rest – not too close, not too far in order to maintain the harmony of colours.
First, I paint every element of the same colour.

Once done, I begin the next colour.

Throughout the whole process I need to maintain a high level of focus and keep an open eye on which elements need to be in the current colour – any element is missed and it is extremely difficult to recreate the exact shade used.

Each element has its own colour, ( including the clear dragonfly wings or the transparent fish tails ) and its own uniquely created shapes. In order to paint one blade of grass, I need to create as many individual colours as there are wings overlapping the blade. The same rule applies to each blade of grass or the transparent fish tails.

I maintain the whole picture in my mind as I paint – shapes and colours. I am not able to focus on anything else until I am done with the painting. The process takes 4 to 6 weeks.
Due to the fact that I have to remain relentlessly focused for such a long amount of time, once finished I become exhausted and I need to reset as well as rest for an extended period of time.
As a result, throughout the year Im only able to create up to 5 paintings.
My art is a full course treat to the emotion of colours translated into a one of a kind experience.
I am a creator of a new art style – harmonism.
